ISZN defines Early Years as Nursery, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten (3-6 years). The curriculum encourages children to engage with each other and the learning environment. Children are actively learning and constructing their own meaning from their experience of the social and physical world that surrounds them.
ISZN recognizes that learning and exploration are interrelated in young children, and our inquiry-based approach allows for concept development that applies across subject specific domains. The curriculum is flexible. It enables teachers to build up children’s self-esteem and confidence, as well as respond to spontaneous events.
