There was particularly strong performance in the Sciences with all pupils studying Biology, Chemistry and Physics achieving between an A*-B. It is no surprise, therefore, that many of our pupils have chosen to read Science related subjects at universities such as ETH, Basel and Manchester.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Whilst these are no doubt exceptional grades, it is our value-added data that we are most proud of. Externally validated analysis has shown that ISZN\u2019s \u2018value added score\u2019 (the positive impact of our teaching and environment) is 0.92.\u00a0 This means pupils here achieve almost one whole grade higher in their A level exams than they would elsewhere (and in some subjects two grades). This data is drawn from the correlation between average GCSE scores and associated A-Level outcomes across thousands of schools (this is shown in the table below).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14281 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iszn.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/105\/2023\/06\/Picture1.jpeg?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"491\" height=\"394\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our GCSE results were equally as strong with 89% of all grades 9 \u2013 4 (A* \u2013 C).\u00a0 All pupils studying English Language, the Sciences and History achieved between a 9 and 4.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our Head of Upper School, Mrs Manser says, \u201cwe continue to be committed towards teaching and learning and are looking forward to another successful year for our upcoming graduates\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our pupils have worked exceptionally hard this year, approaching their studies with resilience, determination and maturity, and we wish them all the very best as they move into Grade 11 to begin their A Level courses or leave ISZN to go on to university.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-14283 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.iszn.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/105\/2023\/06\/Blue-And-Gray-Minimalist-Good-Morning-Greetings-Facebook-Post.jpeg?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"487\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>"},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] Students from ISZN have achieved outstanding results in their IGCSE and A-Level examinations. &nbsp; A Level performance at ISZN continues to go from strength to strength. 47% of all A Level grades this year were either an A*or an A and 85% of all grades were A* \u2013 C.
