Welcome from Jonathan Taylor
Choosing a school for your son or daughter is one of the most important decisions a parent must make. At ISZN our provision is built upon a commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of each individual child; we endeavour to nurture happy, confident young people, imbued with a sense of social responsibility that will last a lifetime.
ISZN prides itself on being an inclusive community, diverse in nationalities, talents and personal characteristics. We focus on what children can do, not what they can’t do. Thanks to our small class sizes, provision can be tailored to cultivate individual strengths and ameliorate individual weaknesses. At the heart of any great school is its faculty. Our team of specialist and dedicated teachers, drawn from across five continents, provide the inspiration and support our pupils need to realise their life goals.
A commitment to scholarship is complemented by exceptional pastoral care and a flourishing co-curricular offering. Our Maker Space provision is a core component of our curriculum, whilst every opportunity is taken to move learning beyond the confines of the classroom walls.
Like in any Cognita school, safeguarding and pupil wellbeing are not simply buzzwords, they are sincere commitments that are integral to our purpose. This is an exciting juncture for ISZN; Cognita ownership brings significant investment and group expertise.
I am confident we can align the existing strengths of ISZN with the opportunities afforded by being part of a global education network. I look forward to serving the school community in the months and years ahead and maintaining all that is special about this wonderful centre of learning.
Mr Jonathan Taylor
What makes ISZN special?
ISZN is the only international school in Zurich that combines the best of the International Baccalaureate and the British national curriculum.
ISZN is an inclusive international community where every child is known and nurtured to reveal their full potential.
Wellbeing is our priority
At ISZN, we believe that good grades derive from happiness. If you get the happiness right first, the academic side of things will follow.
