Welcome from James Stenning

Choosing a school for your son or daughter is one of the most important decisions a parent must make. At ISZN our provision is built upon a commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of each individual child; we endeavour to nurture happy, confident young people, imbued with a sense of social responsibility that will last a lifetime.

ISZN prides itself on being an inclusive and diverse community. We focus on what children can do, not what they can’t do. Thanks to our small class sizes, provision can be tailored to cultivate individual strengths and ameliorate individual weaknesses. At the heart of any great school is its faculty. Our team of specialist and dedicated teachers, drawn from across five continents, provide the inspiration and support our pupils need to realise their life goals.

A commitment to scholarship is complemented by exceptional pastoral care and we take the wellbeing of each and every member of our community seriously. Additionally, life at ISZN continues beyond the school day with a wide programme of clubs and activities offering students opportunities to perform, to learn new skills, grow in confidence and develop teamworking skills.
I look forward to welcoming you to our school

Mr James Stenning

What makes ISZN special?

Unique curriculum

ISZN is the only international school in Zurich that combines the best of the International Baccalaureate and the British national curriculum.

Family community

ISZN is an inclusive international community where every child is known and nurtured to reveal their full potential.

Wellbeing is our priority

At ISZN, we believe that good grades derive from happiness. If you get the happiness right first, the academic side of things will follow.

Opening in August: Bilingual Kindergarten

From August 2023, ISZN will offer a bilingual class (German & English). The offer is aimed at children aged 4 and 5. The curriculum is aligned with the Swiss Lehrplan21.
