EARLY YEARS

By combining the latest teaching methods with first class facilities and resources, each child is encouraged to achieve their full potential in all areas of school life.

Early Years education takes place from the ages of 3 months to 6 years and consists of Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten. During this period, we lay the foundations for the journey ahead, preparing children for a happy and successful progression towards the next stage of their education.

From August we will extend our provision and will welcome babies aged 3 months and older in our Little Ibex Nursery. Little Ibex will be open during 50 weeks per year from 7 am to 7 pm. For information about the different options of provision, see below.

OUR APPROACH

Play-based learning: Nurturing confident young minds

Our teachers engage with each child, providing well-planned, stimulating activities in a safe environment. Our dedicated professionals are approachable and supportive, making education a joyful experience.

We prioritise fostering confidence and a love of learning, creating a nurturing environment. Our designated area within the primary campus caters to the needs of our youngest students. Building relationships is our top priority, establishing trust and respect as the foundation for quality learning.

Curriculum

We provide our students with different opportunities in order for them to develop a wide range of skills both within the classroom and beyond.

The PYP curriculum is a transdisciplinary programme designed to promote the development of the whole child by embracing students’ social, physical, emotional, and cultural needs in addition to their academic welfare.

The IB Primary Years Programme develops essential skills:
Ability to conduct research
Effective communication
Understanding social contexts
Health and life management
Critical and creative thinking
My experience of the quality and integrity of the teachers at ISZN has been extremely positive. They are highly responsive to my daughter, academically excellent and promote an inclusive culture.
