iGCSEs at ISZN
Grades (9-10)
The initial two years of Upper Secondary’s Comprehensive Pathway, building the core academic skills needed for A-Level focus and university education in Switzerland and internationally.
At ISZN, the iGCSE programme serves as the core of the Upper Secondary Comprehensive Pathway. Across Grades 9 and 10, students gain a wide base of academic knowledge, adaptable skills, and subject-specific foundations that equip them for A-Level studies and eventual university admission.
Offering a diverse selection of subjects, iGCSEs help students develop strong academic grounding, sharpen critical thinking, become confident independent learners, and refine exam techniques. These internationally recognised qualifications prepare students for advanced education and allow them to explore future career possibilities. For admission to Swiss universities, students must earn at least six iGCSEs along with a minimum of three A-Levels.
