ISZN Earns CIS International Accreditation
ISZN is now officially CIS Accredited!
This is a huge milestone for our school. It recognises the quality of the education we provide every day and reflects the care, dedication, and values we stand for as a community.
What is CIS Accreditation?
The Council of International Schools (CIS) is a globally recognised organisation that helps schools reflect, improve, and reach high international standards.
To earn accreditation, a school must show strong performance across all areas — including teaching and learning, leadership, safety and well-being, and how well it prepares students for a global future.
At ISZN, we met and exceeded these standards. We’re proud to now be part of a network of schools around the world committed to excellence, integrity, and continuous growth.
Why this matters for your family
This is something every ISZN parent should feel proud of. CIS Accreditation means that your child is attending a school that puts quality, care, and purpose at the heart of everything it does.
Our students are growing in an environment that supports their academic development, personal well-being, and global mindset. They’re learning from dedicated educators in a safe and supportive space. And when they apply to universities in the future, they’ll carry the strength of a CIS Accredited education with them.
Many universities around the world actively recruit students from CIS schools because they trust the level of preparation and the values behind the education.
A team effort
This achievement didn’t happen overnight. It took time, teamwork, and a shared belief in doing things well. The journey began under the leadership of our former Principal, Jonathan Taylor, and continued with the commitment and energy of everyone in our community.
“This is a proud moment for ISZN,” said Executive Principal James Stenning. “The CIS Evaluation Team commended many aspects of our practice, and we now move forward with confidence and momentum. I’d like to thank our entire team — and especially Sarah Lowery, our CIS Accreditation Coordinator — for their professionalism and care.”
Every student, staff member, and parent played a part in this moment. This success belongs to all of us.
What comes next
CIS Accreditation is not the end — it’s the beginning of a new chapter. The process gave us valuable feedback, and we’re using it to keep building on what we already do well.
We remain committed to delivering the very best education we can. One that challenges, supports, and inspires every student, every day.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Let’s celebrate this moment, together.
