Sports Day 2025 – A Celebration of Teamwork and Community
This year’s Sports Day focused on teamwork and community, as students from Grades 4-11 took to the track and fields to earn points for their houses. Healthy rivalry filled the air, yet every race and match was marked by genuine respect and encouragement across teams.
Events ranged from track races to baseball, football and frisbee, giving every student a chance to shine individually and collectively. Two moments had the crowd on its feet: the relay races, where each hand-off triggered a wave of cheers, and the tug of war, which turned into a joyful showdown once teachers and parents joined the rope—much to the students’ delight.
Despite fierce competition, sportsmanship remained the day’s defining trait. Victories were celebrated, and even teams that finished off the podium found reasons to congratulate one another. The spirit of playing hard while lifting each other up made every house feel like a winner.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to the secondary teachers, primary homeroom staff and the parent volunteers who organised heats, tallied results and kept the energy high from start to finish. Their careful planning and spirited participation ensured a seamless programme and a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Medals and house points were collected, but the true reward was the sense of unity that carried through the day. Students left the field not only with accomplishments to celebrate, but also with fresh memories of what it means to achieve together—a legacy that promises to energise next year’s Sports Day and beyond.
